MUDEK ACCREDITATION

Faculty of Engineering undergraduate programs evaluation and accreditation is carried out by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK). B.Sc. degree accredited by MÜDEK has international validity following the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) and the Washington Accord agreement.

MÜDEK accreditation started in 2010 in our faculty. The first accredited undergraduate programs were Chemical and Mechanical Engineering programs and continued with the Department of Computer Engineering. These departments have accreditation until 30.09.2022. Civil Engineering Department applied to MÜDEK for accreditation for the first time in 2021. Electrical and Electronics and Food Engineering Departments are preparing themselves to apply for MUDEK accreditation in the upcoming period.

Undergraduate education in Bioengineering and Materials Engineering Departments started in 2018, in Energy Systems and Environmental Engineering Departments in 2019. They will also apply for MÜDEK accreditation after they give graduates.

Information regarding MÜDEK accreditation, preparation, and application is given by Dr. Gülnihal YELKEN to our departments regularly.
