MUDEK ACCREDITATION
The evaluation and accreditation processes of the undergraduate programs within our Faculty are carried out by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MUDEK). The diplomas of our undergraduate programs accredited by MUDEK have international recognition through the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), of which MUDEK is a member, and within the framework of the Washington Accord.
The MUDEK accreditation process in our Faculty began in 2010 with the Department of Chemical Engineering. As of July 1, 2025, the undergraduate programs of the Departments of Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Food Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering are accredited by MUDEK.
In January 2025, accreditation applications were submitted for the undergraduate programs of the Departments of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, with the goal of obtaining accreditation for these programs in 2026. With the planned initial or renewal accreditation applications to be submitted in 2026, it is aimed that all undergraduate programs within our Faculty will be accredited by 2027.
Informative and preparatory presentations parallel to the MUDEK accreditation processes are regularly conducted by Dr. Lecturer Gülnihal YELKEN for the departments.
