MUDEK ACCREDITATION

The evaluation and accreditation studies of the undergraduate education programs of the departments of our faculty are carried out by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs (MÜDEK). The diplomas of our accredited undergraduate programs have international validity in accordance with the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) and the Washington Accord agreement.

The MÜDEK process in our faculty first started in 2010 with the Departments of Chemical and Mechanical Engineering and continued with the Department of Computer Engineering. The undergraduate programs of the Departments of Chemical and Computer Engineering are accredited until 30.09.2027, and the undergraduate program of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is accredited until 30.09.2024. Our Civil Engineering Department applied to MÜDEK for accreditation for the first time in 2021 and was accredited until 30.09.2024. Electronics and Communication Engineering and Food Engineering Departments applied for accreditation for the first time in 2022 and were accredited until 30.09.2025. Applications for MÜDEK Accreditation for the Undergraduate Programs of the Departments of Bioengineering and Materials Science and Engineering were made on 24.01.2024.

Energy Systems and Environmental Engineering Departments started undergraduate education in 2019 and will apply for MÜDEK accreditation after graduation.
